Horsemanship series: March 20 camp

Join us for a great 1/2 day horse camp.  This is part of our year long series about horse education. You can sign your child up for just one day or the whole school year.  Yearly access grants you the ability to signup for the ability to join us during any one of our camps in this series.

Sheridan Creek Equestrian Centers 2024/25 Horsemanship series is a great series aimed at getting your child outside and learning about horses.  This series is designed around the early out days and days off of the douglas county school district.  In this series your child will learn everything from farm chores, horsemanship skills and how to ride a horse.  Our curriculum for the day might vary depending on what the weather happens to give us, but we are fortunate to have a wonderful indoor arena to ride in as well as several barns to work in. Riding will not happen everyday as this camp is geared towards making a well rounded horse person. Ages 5 and up are welcome.

Things your child will need to participate in the program:

1. Long pants
2. Jacket for winter time and appropriate rain gear if needed
3. Riding boots and or muck boots to work in the barn
4. Snack and or lunch depending on how long they are with us
5. Water bottle

We do require 24 hours notice for cancellation unless there is an emergency or sickness.  We will fully refund you or transfer your payment to another day if we have to cancel for any reason.
